I`ve owned my tender cooker for many years, my gasket had rotted, if this one lasts as long as the other one I’ll be able to pass it on in my will!

It’s hard to review a replacement part without reviewing the product it is intended for.I have had my Tender Cooker for over 30 years.Yes that is right over 30 years!I am just now replacing the gasket.I use my Tender Cooker regularly (at least once a week).I had to replace another part at one time and have glued the lid back together but the cooker soldiers on!I can’t say enough good things about this cooker and the customer service I have received when needed.

New gasket means I don’t have to throw old cooker away.
I wish spares were available in UK rather than having to be shipped from the States. postage was same price as gasket

We’ve had this pressure cooker for over 30 years.It’s just right for the two of us, and we also had no problem with volume when our sons were home.It’s easy to adjust regular recipes to the pressure cooker.Love that it’s FAST.
This order was for a new gasket.The old one’s still OK, but as I was placing a NORDIC WARE order, I added this on, just in case.

I have had the tender cooker for at least 20 years and was surprised to learn I could still get a new gasket. I have cooked rice, potatoes for mashing, and small chicken roasts to name a few things.The chickens would come out browned on the skin, since they have a bit of fat right under the skin, looking picture perfect and tasting juicy.You can do most of the things that you can do with the new electric pressure cookers we are seeing on TV these days but it is smaller than those.If you have a small family or just want to make small amounts of a pasta dish or a couple of ears of corn at one time it is great.

I’m 86 and I’ve been using my Nordic Ware microwave pressure cooker for many years now.My favorite meal using it is scalloped potatoes….. yummy!Over the years, the rubber gasket stretched out (understandably), making it hard to get a good seal.On a whim, I checked to see if a replacement for such an old item was even available.Fortunately, I found one right away on the Nordic Ware site and placed my order.It fits perfectly and I am looking forward to many more years of scalloped potatoes.

We bought the Tender Cooker about 30 years ago when we lived in Alaska. We have some favourite dishes that we prepare with the Tender Cooker, but our last gasket had lost its seal after many years. We are delighted that we were able to buy some replacements and got them shipped to us – so we are now reliably making those favourite dishes again. We are grateful to Nordicare!

My neighbors asked if I could find a replacement gasket for their pressure cooker as the old one no longer seals.
